Product care
Our jewellery is crafted from brass or stainless steel with a gold finish. Some pieces feature standard gold plating, others use gold PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating — a more advanced process that bonds gold more durably to the metal surface. Both finishes are beautiful; caring for them correctly keeps them that way.
Gold PVD
PVD coating bonds gold to the metal at a molecular level, making it significantly more resistant to wear, moisture, and daily contact than traditional plating. With proper care, pieces can retain their finish for 2–3+ years.
Check your product description or label to confirm if your piece is PVD coated.
Gold plated
Classic finish, extra care needed
Standard gold plating applies a fine layer of gold over the base metal. It gives a beautiful warm finish but requires more careful handling — it is more sensitive to moisture, friction, and chemicals.
Handle with extra care. Avoid any contact with water, sweat, or products.
Care for all pieces

Store it right
Keep each piece in an airtight pouch or box when not wearing. Store separately to avoid scratches from other jewellery.

Put it on last
Apply perfume, hairspray, and skincare before putting on your jewellery. Chemicals in these products dull both finishes over time.

Clean gently
Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Never use abrasive cloths, jewellery dips, or chemical cleaners on plated pieces.

Take it off
Remove before swimming, showering, exercising, or washing up. Water is the primary cause of plating wear on both finishes.

- Put jewellery on after all beauty products

- Expose to saltwater, chlorine, or hot tubs
- Spray perfume directly onto pieces
- Use chemical cleaners or abrasive cloths
- Sleep or shower wearing jewellery
- Store in humid or damp environments
Neither gold plating nor gold PVD coating is permanent — all plated finishes will naturally wear over time. How long your piece stays beautiful depends on how it is worn and cared for. Gold plated pieces are more delicate and will show wear sooner with frequent contact. PVD pieces are more hardwearing but still benefit from the same careful routine.
Our rings are made to standard US ring sizing. We make our womens rings in sizes 5.5-8.
We are constantly restocking sizes so if your size is not available please reach out and we can let you know when your size will be in. We also offer custom sizes for an additional custom fee.
Cuffs and Bracelets
Our cuffs are made to standard sizing between 14 - 16cm in length.
Our cuffs are not designed to be tightened or stretched to fit your wrist. Please avoid stretching open cuffs to take them on and off or tightening cuffs on the wrist to fit snug. Cuffs should be slid on and off the wrist from the thinnest part of the side of the wrist. Stretching cuffs open and closed can cause a weakness in the band and cause cuffs to crack. This can also weaken the stone settings.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer custom size cuffs.
