Our story

Zoko was born out of friendship.

Sue started Zoko years ago in Beijing, but like all living things, it evolved. Today it's something entirely its own — a brand rooted in connection, nature, and the kind of joy that happens when good friends come together. The name itself carries something personal: Zoko comes from Sue's daughter's name Zoe Kokomo. It was always meant to hold something meaningful.

Now based in Hong Kong, Zoko lives and breathes in the spirit of Shek O — a little beach village where life moves slower, the water is salty, the sun is warm, delicious coconuts and a beautiful community remind you that the simple things are the best things. That feeling — barefoot, present, surrounded by people you love — is what Zoko is all about.

Sue and Ana create together. They gather around beautiful gemstones, design pieces over wine, talk about life, and chase the world with open hearts. Their travels take them to sun-drenched coastlines, hidden villages, and faraway markets — and those adventures find their way into every collection. Many of Zoko's most beloved photos were captured on the road, in places that felt too beautiful not to share.

Zoko is for the wanderers. The ones who collect moments as much as they collect beautiful things. The ones who believe freedom is a feeling, and that the best journeys are always taken with great friends by your side.
